Truck Use and History:
This was the third truck built for Colo Fire and Rescue by R&M. This truck has a fully custom, one of a kind, body style. It has a rear riding position that includes a roll cage. The roll cage can position 2 firefighters on the inside rear allowing them to move from side to side on a crossover platform. This allows the freedom to fight a fire from either side of the truck if needed. The tank on this truck carries 300 gallons of water as well as 20 gallons of foam. The main purpose for this truck is to go off-road to fight fires in fields and remote or wooded areas that cannot be accessed by the larger trucks.
** Note: R&M Fire Apparatus was a company owned and operated by our late Chief Mark Farren and one of our current officers Bob Jamison.
